  1. This interview was 100% correct. I was very offended by what took place on TBN with Steve Harvey. Disappointment on the crowd and on Donnie. Lord help us. Too many Christians walking by the flesh and in ignorance. Thank you exministries for opening up the eyes and ears of all of us.

  2. Wow, thank you for exposing this. We as black people do let people who are on TV influence us. I always was leary about Steve Harvey and wondered why Steve H. hasn’t grown as a Christian, and now I see it is because he doesn’t want to. Why does the Body of Christ need Steve H, whatever happened to Johnathan Slocumb and other christian comedians? Did we just totally throw them away?

    Comment by Carla — October 9, 2009 @ 2:40 pm

  3. I have been saying this for years and Pastor G.Craige Lewis I give God the glory for Him allowing you to continue to be an exposer of sin. S Harvey needs a real deliverence and be filled with the Holy Ghost.TBN has always been pulling the black church into foolishness. Praying for you.

  4. We all fall short, but the difference is he’s not TRYING to live right. Steve is currently married to the woman he cheated on his wife with, and stole that book from someone else in the 90’s. Proof of it is on youtube of this woman’s interview from the 90’s with the SAME TITLE. Not only that, but he does not speak for most men in the now generation, he hasn’t had any education on it or biblical study on relationships, so why buy the book? Steve is a con artist, and Katt Williams isn’t godly either, but called him out. I don’t support him and he has always pimped christians. Too bad people are just getting hip to it.

  6. I am just so glad that I am not going crazy. I talk about this stuff all the time to christians and they look at me like i’m nuts!! I was involved in rap groups, drinking, and partying before I got saved four years ago I was never raised in church and I thought once you got saved that everybody that went to church all stood for being holy? Boy was I wrong this is just crazy how we as christians allow people to just mock god like this and think it is okay great job exministries for riding out on these clowns!!

  7. All I can say is THANK YOU!!!!! When I saw the ‘interview’ I was shocked to see Steve Harvey on TBN. I thought to myself, ‘what is HE doing on TBN?!?!?!?’ And then when the crocodile tears started, I just turned the channel because it was all phony. I had an argument with my cousin, because she insisted he was sincere. I told her it was all hollywood schmoozing of the people and if you listen to what he actually said, he told on himself that he is not living a Christ centered life. Trying to make the argument of people who ‘know God’ but make money a different way than we do? What kind of justification is that of living a sinful life? TBN has gone down, so far down with this one. I just want you to know that we are not all sleep Pastor Craig. Many of us still believe in holiness and the straight and narrow.

  8. I just wanted to let you know you are truly a blessing to the body of Christ in this hour! All glory and honor goes to God for exministries and the word of truth that is always being delivered. I am a former holy-hip-hopper and in the next few weeks I am going to be sharing my testimony on my ministries (www.teenyess.wordpress.com) website about how I was introduce to this ministry back in 2005, and delivered instantly by God from generational curses and deception and how the glories of God followed. After watching the Truth about hip-hop videos, I have had a renewed fire ignited by God every since. I thought I was on fire for God before, but through exministries God showed me how I was being ignorant to Satan devices and how we all have a mandate from God to stand for holiness and righteousness. “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”! Does not Gods Word states this in John 8:32!! Come on lets get free people! God Bless you Pastor Craige and keep fighting the good fight of faith. I will keep you and your family lifted up in my prayers.

  9. This message is true. But why instead of talking about it we should pray and fast and talk to the people directly and get them filled with the holy ghost that way we wouldnt have this problem and have to broadcast all the podcasts websites DVD etc….

    Comment by Darrius Williams — October 11, 2009 @ 5:07 pm

  10. Darrius Williams,

God Bless You. You automatically assume that people have NOT spoken to these guys. You must remember, Steve Harvey chooses to continue his foul mouth, sinful lifestyle in spite of God’s truth. Donnie McClurking continues to keep homosexuals around him and in his church in spite of claiming deliverance. He even traveled with an open homosexual pastor along with Barack Obama. They traveled from city to city together. You cannot just pray and hope for the best. God called prophets and preachers to teach against sin and openly rebuke open sin. These guys chose to go on national tv promoting this foolishness, so we cannot go hide in a room somewhere and pray. Once we pray, we are to act. Paul and the rest of God’s men challenged this kind of stuff openly. So, maybe God has called you to be the hidden prayer warrior, but he has called us to openly deal with open sin. And FYI, we have had ministers go to these guys in the past and have almost gotten the finger from these larger than life superstars we are talking about. Don’t be naive. These guys are for fame and money and will not hear lowly preachers like us. Just like they didn’t hear Jesus because he was just a carpenter, they will not hear us. Wake up my brother.

  11. Donnie Mclurkin giggled and teeheed through this whole interview, and never address the fact that this man admitted to living in sin! Wow Donnie, you showed who you really are!

  12. G Craige, God bless you, God bless you, God bless you. May God’s face shine upon you and lift your countenance. May you find your comfort and sustenance only in the Lord. May you not be weary in well-doing but continue to trust in the Lord.

Thank you so much for being faithful to the Lord and to his calling upon your life, pastor. I can’t tell you how much your messages are affecting my life and helping me to live for God’s glory.

    God bless!

  13. I’m not bordeline…I’m a new creature…”now unto HIM who is able to keep you from FALLING ( Donnie needs to read that then stop singing his We fall down song) and present you faultless..Don’t insult the GIFT of Salvation by calling me borderline…nope I reject that!!!

    Comment by Naiym — October 13, 2009 @ 1:00 am

  14. I have challenged Craige for the last 3 years, just following what he preaches, learning, and trying to find one thing the was not in the word of according to what Jesus wants us to do, and i cant find one thing that watched, read, or listed to, that is not by God word. Yes some times its not how ‘people’ want it but its the TRUTH, the same reason Jesus died He spoke things that hurt feelings.

There are LACK of prophets in these days. Few are left. Craige is following Jesus with all his heart, and if i can only have half of the devotion and dedication that Carige has with our lord and savior. He is a true man of God. He has showed me the truth as disciples are supposed to now me and many others are free, God is still working through people.

  16. The Steve Harvey interview was one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen in a long time. And actually, my issue was not particularly with Steve Harvey (whom I believe is largely uninformed). Rather, my issue is with how he and his celebrity are being PIMPED by TBN and the corrupt Christian “establishment”. A total and complete mess…

  17. Also, as for qualifications for an elder/minister, many people overlook the most basic requirement of being a Holy Spirit-filled Christian, exhibiting the fruit described in Galatians 5.

    Comment by NYTN — October 20, 2009 @ 12:29 pm

  18. I have listened to some of the podcasts and also own a few of the Truth behind hip hop videos. I am now raising my thirteen year old niece who do not have and was not taught the same christian morals that I stand for. I am noticing that the institutinal church is so jacked up it is sickening. I think that alot of what we are seeing today is because of the institutionalization of christianity. Once Christianity is institutionalized it becaomes a thing of the world. It is just another system (religious) of the world. Christians today have not accepted that they have been crucified with Christ and is now seated in heavenly places with him. This is not our home, but we behave as though it is. The “church” has been decieved into thinking that they have to compete with the world to win the world. That is a lie! Jesus who was from God had it all at his disposable if need be. There was really no competition for him on this earth but he came in lowliness. He never used the materials glory of this world to draw anyone. We need to pray for the souls of those that want to Know Christ but have been duped by religiousity of so called christian leaders.

  19. Brother Craige, I admit, at first I thought you were over the top but now I know you have seen some behind the scenes things that had not come out yet. Brother if there is anything about you I would improve upon, it would be, everytime you cite a fact….you should give the source. Many of us thinking minds would like to do our own research. God bless you and keep going!!!

  20. I just saw the testimony, and it made no sense to me what so even and it really ticked me off is the fact that they were didn’t do anything, but get emotional with his testimony instead of talking and trying to get his life or at least see where his heart at. All this is foolishness and I really hate to see the body of Christ allowing this to go on, and mess up so many people. It’s depressing and annoying

    Comment by Jajuan — October 26, 2009 @ 1:47 am

  21. Brother lewis, there is a book that explains the science behind this talent issue you are preaching about. It most definitely supports your position. It is called “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell. It basically explains that no one is gifted. ITS ALL HARD WORK!! It takes about 10,000 hrs to perfect a skill and most anyone can do it!!!! Now of course, it is up to us if we use that skill for God or against him.

    Comment by Bernard — October 26, 2009 @ 4:15 pm

  22. Brother Lewis, I saw the interview as well and became angry that a “christian” TV station would air something this,I had church folk telling me I was judging and we are all God’s children..The devil is a lie. I really became depressed and fearious when the interview was over. I’m a firm believer in Galatians 5:9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.

  23. Good information in the podcast but remember just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down. Steve just needs to be under a good teacher, which is vital to believers at any stage especially for a baby in Christ. ..when I viewed the TBN videos on you tube he did mention that his learning came from his father who was not a believer.. so if this has been all you’ve known for years plus wouldn’t you say something off the hook too? lol.. he also stated that he needed advice and the only two people in the church he knew were too busy to help.. this is when he called Donnie Mcklurkin and he befriended him. Remember how it was when you first got saved? ..and hopefully we know a little more now than before right? Smile.

  24. Pastor Lewis, I am so grateful for your ministry. It is so refreshing to hear the truth being preached. It is so sad to see how The Body of Christ will be quick to defend these famous artists. On facebook I posted a comment saying that I didn’t get why everyone was so touched by the Steve Harvey interview- I said that I was shocked that he was allowed to come out with so many unbiblical comments, and not be corrected. Immediately I received messages that went something like this, “No one is perfect, no one can judge another, only God knows the heart”. I was just shocked that no one else was a little disturbed or uncomfortable with the interview. No one even agreed with me- You would have thought that I lied on him, I only repeated what he himself had already said about his own walk- We have to wake up church it’s getting out of hand.

  25. Thank you for revealing truth. I’ve learned so much from THE TRUTH BEHIND HIP HOP and your sermons. And this podcast was again revealing. I have been praying for God to show me truth and it’s amazing how and when those precious revelations arrive. Pastor Lewis you do remind me of John the Baptist, crying out in the wilderness……REPENT! Thank you Lord for your servant.

Thanks G Craige Lewis for always standing for truth.I live in London and i can relate to everything you say.You are definitely my role model, even though am only 17 i have learnt alot from you and your Ministry. It has changed my outlook on Life completely. It’s hard to see truth in the media so it’s good to see that someone aint scared of standing.

  30. Sir, is the Truth Behind Hip Hop Part 5 DVD available in London?

    Comment by Ade Alli — November 7, 2009 @ 10:36 pm

  31. Praise God for brother G. Craig and exministries. I also saw this thing coming with Steve Harvey months ago. As soon as I saw his that he had a book coming out, I waited, got it, and read it. Not because I wanted to read it, but because I knew satan had an agenda for it. The Spirit told me to read it for research purposes (exministries drilled that into me) I knew that this book was going to be exalted in the Christian community. And look, it got the biggest endorsement from the largest Christian media source on the planet-TBN. I released a video on my blogsite -www.christradar.blogspot.com begging Christians to not read this book. Of course I waited until I read it first, so I could be intelligently informed and ready to avenge any defense other Christians would offer on Mr. Harvey’s behalf. And of course, I was attacked by many of my Christian family and friends. What is happening to the Body of Christ? Why are we so attracted to fame and fortune? Lord Help Us!!!

  33. TBN gave the people the “green light” after 90 days through Steve Harvey!!! What happened to after marriage. I couldn’t watch the interview in its entirety. It wasn’t an insult to me see him on TBN, I wasn’t shocked at all. But the “green light special”. We need to pray for our people that when someone like those that are taking and/or giving whatever platform to promote hell to Christians need to be stopped. Association by affiliations, that was nothing but evil communication.
